Mindspace is a social app focused on emotion tracking. People interact as they would on a traditional social network, but they react to and log content with their own emotions. The app turns those reactions into personal mood statistics, peer comparisons and collective moodboards.
My role
I co-founded Mindspace Inc and lead its technical development as CTO. I own the architecture and infrastructure decisions, and I combine the technical leadership of a founding team of two to three people with hands-on development across the frontend, backend and database.
Architecture
- Client: Ionic and Angular, packaged for iOS and Android with Capacitor and served on the web from the same codebase.
- Backend: Supabase.
- Internationalization: Transloco, so the product supports several languages from a single build.
